Morel speaker Upgrade
It was time for Stage 2 speaker upgrade for this Holden Crewman.
This customer was so happy with the sound quality when he replaced the front speakers and added a amplifier to the system he decided that it was time to take things up a level.
Morel Maximus 602 6.5 inch components previously installed where relocated to the rear doors and a set of Morel Tempo Ultra 602 6.5 inch fitted to the front OEM locations.
The front doors had originally had a small amount of sound deadening installed. We kicked it up a notch and applied a full sound deadening treatment to both the front and rear doors including foam rings to help seal the output from the speakers directly out the grill rather than resonate in the door panel.
During install we noticed a few corners cut by the previous installer with crossover,cabling and amplifier installation. So we fixed up these issues and upgraded cabling to ensure there are no issues further down the road.
