Holden Monaro system upgrade
This customer wanted to improve a few areas of the factory amplified system in this Holden Monaro.
The major issue was the lack of clear bass from the 2x factory 8-inch subwoofers in the rear shelf. So we installed a MTX Audio Thunder500.1 mono block amplifier to replace the factory amplifier located behind the CD changer. A 12-inch MTX Audio TX6 series subwoofer in a slim vented enclosure now sits neatly behind the rear seats giving a huge increase in power and performance.
For the front doors of the Monaro we installed 2.4 m2 of Car Builders stage 1 black Sound deadening to both the inner and outer door skins to improve mid-bass response as well as eliminate rattles and road noise.
