76 series Toyota Landcruiser upgrade
It was time for a full audio system upgrade for this customers 76 series Toyota Landcruiser wagon.
We started with a full interior strip-down to apply Car Builders stage 1 sound deadening to the full floor doors and roof as well as extra layer of 6mm Insu-layer to the roof.
The front doors are fitted up with a set of ASV door moulds allowing us to upgrade the factory 4-inch front speakers to a set of DB Drive Speed series 6.5 inch components with woofers in the doors and tweeters in the factory 4-inch locations. In the rear sides we fitted a set of matching DB Drive 6.5-inch 2 ways mounted with Aerpro Toyota speaker mounts to utilise the factory locations.
The latest Mongoose Q7CA-T Toyota specific replacement touchscreen with built in Bluetooth, Apple Carplay and Android Auto compatibility was fitted to give that factory fit and finish, as well as a Mongoose MC3 reverse camera wich gives a crystal-clear wide-angle view of the rear.
